Assistant Professor. Undergraduate studies at the National Technical University of Athens (Dipl. Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2005). Graduate studies at the National Technical University of Athens (M.Sc., 2008, co-organised, and Ph.D., 2009, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering). She has worked as a Research Associate at the National Technical University of Athens (2005-2009), as a Laboratory Assistant at the Technical Institute of Piraeus (2007-2009), as well as a software and telecommunications engineer in Germany (2005, 2009-2010). She has also worked as a visiting researcher at the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg and TU Delft,and has been involved in the organisation of international conferences (e.g. ICSR 2016, WISE 2012, SAC 2019, FM 2016, IEEE Services 2014). She has published over 60 papers in international journals and conferences, and is contributing to open source projects. She has been involved and received funding from European research projects (e.g. CYberSafety, TAMIT, PaaSage, VALS). She is a member of the editorial board of ERCIM News and has been a guest editor for a special issue in Elsevier Journal of Systems and Software. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Open Source Software, Context-aware applications, Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and Web of Things.
